Building Prosperity through Community Mobility: What it takes to deliver opportunity across Oregon
Wednesday, April 22 – Friday, April 24, 2026
The 2026 Oregon Active Transportation Summit brings together government practitioners, nonprofit leaders, private sector experts, and community advocates to advance innovative solutions in active transportation and public transit. This annual event provides a platform to share best practices, tackle pressing challenges, and explore strategies that drive safety, equity, climate action, and community mobility and connectivity. Hosted at the Portland State University Smith Memorial Student Union in Portland, Oregon’s multimodal downtown, this year’s summit will feature compelling keynote speakers, roundtables with lawmakers and decision-makers, and advocacy updates from coalition partners statewide. The Street Trust will also hold its annual meeting and elections during the summit.

Volunteer
The Oregon Active Transportation Summit is our biggest event of the year. Volunteers who help for about eight hours get free admission to OATS! Signing up is not a guarantee–we’ll confirm with you based on availability, but we’ve got a lot of slots so we expect to be able to accommodate everyone. We’ll be getting in touch to confirm shifts in early April. Sign up to volunteer.
Apply for a Scholarship
The Street Trust is committed to listening to and standing in partnership with youth, women, communities of color, members of the LGBTQIA2+ community, and people with disabilities, as we work to reduce age, racial, gendered, and mobility disparities in our transportation network. We strongly encourage people from these underrepresented communities to apply for a scholarship and attend OATS at no cost. Apply for a scholarship.
Become a Speaker
The request for proposals (RFP) is now closed, but we are still actively collecting pitches for storytellers with dynamic slides for the PK Slam Thursday evening during OATS.
