14th Annual Oregon Active Transportation Summit hosted by The Street Trust
Reclaiming the Basics: Safe Streets and Active Transportation for a Connected Oregon
April 23-25, 2025
The 2025 Oregon Active Transportation Summit brings together government practitioners, nonprofit leaders, private sector experts, and community advocates to advance innovative solutions in active transportation and public transit. This annual event provides a platform to share best practices, tackle pressing challenges, and explore strategies that drive safety, equity, climate action, and community mobility and connectivity. Hosted at the DoubleTree by Hilton Portland in Portland, Oregon’s multimodal Lloyd District, this year’s summit will feature compelling keynote speakers, roundtables with lawmakers and decision-makers, and advocacy updates from coalition partners statewide. The Street Trust will also hold its annual meeting and elections during the summit.

Sign up to Volunteer
The Oregon Active Transportation Summit is our biggest event of the year. Volunteers help for eight hours and get free admission. Signing up is not a guarantee–we’ll confirm with you based on availability, but we’ve got a lot of slots so we expect to be able to accommodate everyone. Join us as a volunteer.
Apply for a Scholarship
The Street Trust is committed to listening to and standing in partnership with youth, women, communities of color, members of the LGBTQIA2+ community, and people with disabilities, as we work to reduce age, racial, gendered, and mobility disparities in our transportation network. We strongly encourage people from these underrepresented communities to apply for a scholarship and attend OATS at no cost. Apply for a scholarship.
Become a Speaker
The request for proposals (RFP) closed on February 21st, but you can still visit the RFP to read more about the 2025 theme and tracks and submit a late proposal. We value community-driven processes and solutions, and encourage applications from youth, grassroots advocates, Safe Routes to School practitioners, and community groups. Proposals that demonstrate how transportation choices intersect with other community concerns and goals are especially welcome. We value racial diversity and perspectives from different geographies. You are welcome to propose a presentation as an individual or in a group.
